Here’s the official news of our blog.
Machiko Sensei dropped!
As an unofficial member of anime-rg, but project leader of the Machiko Sensei anime, the Maicchingu Machiko Sensei is officially dropped. It’s unfortunate anime-rg only helped with episode 1, but I am appreciative of the fact that they (most notably, edogawaconan and Jupiter_RingsID) helped us on our previous collaboration named Yoiko.
The Maicchingu Machiko Sensei anime shall STILL be continued by ray=out as a solo project with a special re-launch coming in about a month. More information about that re-launch can be found on this MAL thread. If you are a fan of the anime, make sure you read everything mentioned and try to help out if you can. Conversely, you can also bookmark or subscribe to the RSS feed of this web-site to keep up-to-date on the releases.
If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding anything, even for things you suspect I may not know about in relation to the Maicchingu Machiko Sensei anime, send me an e-mail at rayoutfansubs@gmail.com or use the form on the right-side of this page.
Everything was broken
Sorry, seems like I accidentally broke everything sometime few weeks ago. It has been fixed now. I also enabled Disqus commenting system (currently migrating comments, most will still be empty at the time of this post).
Aquarion Evol
Yes, this is official. We are subbing this series. It’s been a while since our last anime series. And here we are, after 12000 years, subbing again. Please look forward to our releases 😀 .
That new Saki anime
Turns out the new Saki anime is not going to follow the main storyline. It’ll follow the spinoff Saki Achiga-hen Episode of Side-A.
Other team has continued the recent chapters of Saki though so I guess I’ll just sit back and enjoy unless a good translator which proficient in mahjong offers help.
Saki Dropped!
edogawaconan: “Saki has been dropped.”
I didn’t want to be responsible for mentioning this as I am not the project leader nor took part in any of the chapters after volume seven (which I shall be releasing after we catch up with D-Frag!), but since edogawaconan is too busy, lazy, or ashamed to, I decided to mentioned it.
Why did we (the Saki team) drop it? If you have not heard about it already, Saki is getting a sequel to its anime that shall be continuing on the story from the manga, so instead of doing chapters that are going to be animated anyway, the Saki team felt it was useless and a waste of resources. Not to mention, fidzerone isn’t exactly a wizard in mahjong terminology.
edogawaconan edit: hahaha thanks for posting this. Yes I’m too lazy. Mainly editing the scripts. Having to edit half-accurate translation with my not even remotely good knowledge doesn’t bode well with me. No, an editor won’t solve this problem.
Yoiko’s Noguchi-sensei’s Porno!
Seven years after the completetion of Yoiko, Noguchi-sensei found a surprising opportunity to star in an adult film which she decided to take on. Yoshino Miki, the voice actor of Noguchi-sensei starred as a supporting character in the Hentai OVA, Haitoku Tsuma. She plays Eriko, a voluptuous and big-breasted bitch. If you have not seen it yet, I recommend it. I found it rather strange though at the same time pleasant hearing the same kinds of squeals and sounds that she made in Yoiko. The OVA is two-episodes. She plays Eriko in the latter. And yes, you’ll need tissues!
P.S. I’ve updated the status on Machiko Sensei, so check out the status page.
Free Premium Voucher!
I am giving away one lucky person a seven (7) day filesonic premium voucher! If there are videos, documents, or other files you would like to download and they just happen to be hosted on filesonic, this is your best chance to be able to download them all without any wait times, full speed, and simultaneously. Renewing it after the expiration date will be your choice.
To receive it, email me as soon as possible at the following address: rayoutfansubs[at]gmail.com – please mention “filesonic voucher” in the subject or link this news post in the email. I shall pick one person out of those that apply at random. Congratulations to Fredrik Gustavsson, who was the only person that contacted me.
Should we release Yoiko 17, 19 and 20 before the others?
Edit: Out of 19 votes in the poll, only 5 said “No,” while the rest were a combination of “I don’t mind” and “Yes.” The former of which had the most. Therefore, 17 shall be released sometime during this week while the latter two, 19 and 20, in the coming weekend (I had excruciating back pain the past weekend). Episode 16 and 18 may come during then as well.
Edit-2: As I had received the fixed timing for the earlier episodes the very day of the polls deadline, the “skipping” of episodes idea has been terminated. We will resume our orderly schedule plan. In addition, Yoiko will be put on-hold (meaning no releases) until the 12th or 18th of June.
Recruiting TLC/Editor/Proofreader for Saki
alchemist11 edit (short version): We are need of a translation checker that know the rules and regulations of Mahjong or an editor/proofreader (that should also know about Mahjong) who can make out fidzerone’s translation into proper English grammar. Fidzerone doesn’t want to learn mahjong, so the translation is a bit iffy.
Anyway, interested applicants should send the proofread/translation checked script of Saki 80 to edogawaconan via email at me@myconan.net.
Chapter 80 and onwards are on hold until we find someone capable of doing the task above. for then be paid our modern check stub generator free software.
